Normal Cadence

  • Board Meetings are held the 2nd Monday of every month (except December) at 8pm. We begin promptly at 8:02.
  • Registration for next season will typically open around December 1st and May 1st (while school is still in session).
  • Recreational registration will close around February 1st and July 1st, with late registration running approximately through February 15th and July 15th.
  • There is a MANDATORY Coaches' Meeting each season, typically the first Monday in August and March. All teams (recreational and select) MUST be represented. Head Coaches - Send a representative in your place, if you are not able to attend the meeting yourself.
  • The first recreational U8+ games are typically the 2nd or 3rd Saturday in August and March. We plan for 8 games over 9-10 weekends, with weeknight games for some teams.
  • The select soccer season starts earlier and goes later.
  • U6 plays on Sundays, typically starting the same weekend as U8+ recreational. U6 will skip Labor Day and Easter. Typically you'll finish the spring season before Mother's Day, though occasionally we've done makeups the weekend after (but never on Mother's Day itself).
  • Practice field selection for U8+ is based on the coach's meeting credits (as well as other factors like getting little kids to bed earlier). If you get more involved in the club, you'll be more likely to have the practice field you want. Board Members get first choice. School Reps get additional credits. You may give your draw spot to another person (Assistant Coaches or Team Managers sometimes attend meetings in place of their Head Coach). Coaches - You may also send a representative in your place to claim the meeting credit for you.
