Coaches
Coach Information & Resources
Our programs depend on amazing volunteer coaches, and we appreciate their willingness to give of their time and energy to the youth in Campbell County.
Interested in coaching? Here are a few things you should know:
- All coaches must complete our SafeSport training and Background Check and abide by the CCYSL Coaches Code of Conduct. Register for the training and background check at system.gotsport.com
- Our TeamSnap tool simplifies administration by providing an easy way to communicate with your team. It even includes a dedicated section for practice drill videos, enabling you to create your practice plan quickly and easily.
If you want to volunteer as a coach, please start the registration process using the “register now” button under the TeamSnap section below.
If you have questions about the process, please contact the league registrar.
We have much more to add to this site! Check out the Coaching section on our old website in the meantime.

Game Schedules
- Game schedules can be found at Horizon Web Ref Game Schedule.
Cancellations & Reschedules
- If at all possible, reach out to your opposing coach first (unless it’s 4pm before the 5pm deadline).
- When possible, play your game as scheduled. You may borrow players from another CSC team in the same division or one division lower (including your opponent). Girls can play in a boys’ game, but not vice versa (per KYSA rules). Select & recreational players can only play at the competitive level where they are registered (and a player CAN be registered for both).
- The minimum number of players is 5 for U8 & U10 and 7 for U12 & U14 (yes, the kids can play 7v7 on the big 11v11 field).
- If you must cancel/reschedule your game, do so as early as possible.
- To avoid fees, games must be canceled at least 4 days ahead of time (by Tuesday at 5pm for a Saturday game). Late cancellations result in the cancelling team having to pay BOTH sets of referee fees (the refs do still get paid in this instance, out of your pocket).
- Moving a game requires canceling it and rescheduling it (two separate actions, which can be requested at the same time). A game may be canceled without rescheduling it. A previously-canceled game can be rescheduled at a later date.
- If a large block of games is canceled due to bad weather, we’ll likely reschedule them and we’ll let you know. If a few single games are canceled due to a small thunderstorm, you’re on your own to submit a request to reschedule the game we canceled.
Head Coach List – Fall 2025: Coming soon!
Procedure:
- Contact your opponent to let them know about canceling and to open the discussion about new dates.
- Use the Google Form below to cancel/reschedule your games. Games may be canceled first and then rescheduled later, or may be canceled and rescheduled all at once (the form will guide you through the process).
- Confirm field availability before submitting a reschedule date/time/field. The requested field is not guaranteed, but our Referee Assignor will use your request as a guide.
- Make sure both coaches agree to the new date & time before submitting the form to reschedule a game.
- Add any Comments if needed.
- Await confirmation from the Referee Assignor.
- Verify on Horizon Web Ref.
- Confirm with your opponent.
- Update your TeamSnap schedule.

Field Availability Link: Field Availability Sheet
Notes:
- DO NOT EMAIL the Referee Assignor with a cancellation/reschedule request. The Google Form will put a line in the Requests tab on the Field Availability spreadsheet. Your email will not do that.
- If you see another game time on the same day that works better for you, AND ALL 4 COACHES AGREE TO THE SWAP, then submit 2 requests (one for each game) listing the two affected coaches per game and asking for the other time. An email to the Referee Assignor might be helpful in this situation to make things clearer, but the email does NOT replace the lines on the Requests tab in the spreadsheet. You can also add notes in the Comments.
- Again, games must be canceled at least 4 days ahead of time (by 5pm Tuesday for a Saturday game). After this, the canceling team is responsible for reimbursing CSC for both sets of referee fees.
